About Us

Our kitchen and bath studio is headed up by Scott Hodges. Scott has been in the cabinetry and kitchen and bath design business for 23 years. Growing up he was always enthralled with woodworking and millwork with his Grandpa. Early on, Scott began his career in the cabinetry businesses as an installer before deciding that his true passion was in the design and sales side of the industry, although he's been known to go out in the field and install still. Scott has led openings of three previous showrooms and is excited to open his fourth. Previously he has been sales manager in large showrooms on the first coast and the southern gulf coast region. He has ran several sales teams, working on designs for builder's, high end custom clients, single family homes, multi-family homes,  and commercial across the country and in the Bahamas. His work has been featured, and won numerous Parade of Homes and graced the cover Jacksonville and Sarasota Home Magazines.

 Our architecture studio at Novel is headed up by Jason Fisher. Jason has over 30 years of experience in the architecture industry in a variety of project types including commercial, residential, religious institutions, offices, and mixed use. Being introduced to the built environment at an early age through his family’s construction company allowed him to gain hands-on knowledge on how a building transitions from design to reality, while gaining an appreciation for the craft of construction. His passion for design and love of the process of how a building is constructed led him to the University of Florida where he gained a Bachelor of Design and a Master of Architecture. These years of experience in the construction field guides and support his designs, leading him to create projects that not only meet the requirements of his clients, but are also well designed without sacrificing cost efficiency and constructability.
